This series of photographs, taken in Iceland during the years 2006 and 2007, explore notions of change, chance, mediation, and the landscape as a metaphor for psychic states. Primary sites of exploration were the volcanic excavations on the island of Heimaey, the geo-thermal activity in and near the town of Hveragerdi, and various locations along the southern Outer Ring Road.
